A BRIEF ABOUT SHORT TERM COURSE
Soft Computing is a collection of methodologies that aim to exploit the tolerance for precision and uncertainty to achieve tractability, robustness, and low solution cost. Its principal constituents are adaptive systems, various types of Artificial Neural Networks (ANN), Fuzzy Logic (FL), Neuro Fuzzy techniques (NF), and Genetic Algorithms (GA). The
application areas will include telecommunication, control, instrumentation, finance, robotics and biomedical engineering. The course contents will be taught by eminent experts
in the field and having adequate teaching and research experience.
