Overview
The Internet is like a lifeline to our world today and the way through which
we communicate to the internet is the website. IDEATE, DESIGN & LAUNCH
is an event where students can show that they are the better web developer than others.
Planning
This year we plan that students will be instructed to make a team of a maximum of 2 people and
then register for this event. An individual can also register as a team. We are expecting that the
total number of teams will be registered for this event is 30-40.
So, we have planned that there will be two round for this event. Both the rounds will be
eliminating round.
● Round 1:
This will be an online round. There will be 30 MCQ questions. Based on that we will select the
top 10 teams, who scored maximum marks, to move to the next round. The questions will be
based on HTML, CSS, Bootstrap, JavaScript, PHP.

● Round 2/ Final Round:
In this round, we will check the thinking and designing ability of the participants. We will
provide them 3-4 themes. Then the participants will be instructed to choose any one of the themes
and build their website related to that theme. No backend Database implementation required only
design is considered.
Time: 2 hours
Languages can be used: HTML, CSS, Bootstrap, JavaScript, AJAX, Jquery, Angular JS,
Node JS etc (No Restriction).
Browser: Google Chrome, Mozilla Firefox.
❖ Screening Process:-
The Parameters we are looking for:
1. The Site should follow standard design trends.
2. Included functionalities for the particular theme.
3. Time is taken to complete the Site.
4. Good Coding Standards.
Based on the above parameters we will select Top 3 teams as Winner.
Rules:
1. Maximum 2 people are allowed in a team.
2. The decision of judges will be final and binding.
3. Participants are not allowed to download themes.
4. The minimum number of web pages will be 2.
5. Stock pictures, editors and other necessary resources will be provided to the participants.
6. No peripheral devices are allowed.
7. One machine will be allotted per team.
8. Participants can use the internet which we will provide to them.
9. All the participants must bring their college ID Card.
